Our model combines the most effective methods of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) science, a fun environment, community outings, safety, and high parent involvement to children who have ASD. Success On The Spectrum is an approved practicum site for Purdue Global, Florida Institute of Technology, and Nova Southeastern University.

We are looking for an organized, energetic intern who is seeking full-time employment assisting our BCBAs. You must have good communication skills and a salesman-like enthusiasm, as you will be working directly with our client’s parents.

Each BCBA is assisted by an intern and has a max caseload of 12 clients. You will be trained to do everything that the BCBA does and supervised by them when you work. We can’t emphasize enough how vital your abilities of attention to detail are in this role, as you must adhere to the pre-authorized service schedule and properly document every service provided.

Job Description:

• Work In Center Monday - Friday 7:45am - 4:30pm.
• Once per week, supervise in-home clients 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm.
• Perform Assessments (VB-Mapp, AFLS, Social Skills Solutions, etc)
• Create Individualized, research-based client programs.
• Analyze client progress and update programs as needed.
• Weekly parent training meetings and progress updates.
• Supervise Interns and RBTs.
• Weekly staff meetings and quarterly in-service training.
• Insurance correspondence. (pre-auth requests)

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Enrolled in a school program for Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or other related fields.
• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Able to lift at least 40 pounds, sit on the floor, and be physically active.
