Intern, Business Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Business Analyst Intern to support business analysis activities — from gathering and documenting business requirements to analysing processes and supporting business improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have an interest in understanding business needs and translating them into effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements from stakeholders
• Support the preparation of business requirements, process flows, user stories, and other relevant documentation
• Analyse existing business processes and identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
• Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear and actionable requirements
• Support data analysis and prepare reports or presentations to provide insights for business decision-making
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT), including test case preparation, execution, and issue tracking
• Support ad-hoc business analysis and process improvement initiatives as required

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand and structure business requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office suite
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with different stakeholders
• Familiarity with business process mapping, requirements gathering, or data analysis is an added advantage
• Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently and as part of a team
