INTERN CONTENT CREATOR

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and creating content for social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and other relevant platforms.
• Support the team in developing content ideas, concepts and simple storyboards based on current campaigns, events and marketing objectives.
• Keep updated with the latest social media trends, viral content, pop culture and current issues that can be adapted for the brand.
• Assist in video shooting, photography and content production for social media.
• Edit short-form videos using CapCut, InShot, Canva or other relevant editing tools.
• Write simple and engaging captions, hooks and content copy.
• Assist in scheduling and posting content across the company’s social media platforms.
• Support the team during campaigns, events, interviews, live sessions and other content activities.
• Monitor comments, engagement and audience responses on social media.
• Assist in tracking basic social media performance such as views, reach, engagement and follower growth.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh, creative and trending content ideas.
• Be willing to appear on camera when required.
• Perform other content, creative or marketing-related tasks assigned by the team.

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma or Degree student in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media, Creative Multimedia, Digital Marketing, Business, Communications or related fields.
• Strong interest in content creation, social media, marketing and digital trends.
• Familiar with platforms such as TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.
• Basic knowledge of video shooting and video editing.
• Familiar with CapCut, Canva, InShot or similar tools is an advantage.
• Able to identify trends and turn them into relevant content ideas.
• Creative and comfortable sharing ideas during brainstorming sessions.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Able to work independently while also collaborating with the team.
• Proactive, responsible and willing to learn.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling different content projects.
• Comfortable appearing on camera when required.

Added Advantage

• Has personally created content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts or other social media platforms.
• Has experience managing personal, university, society or business social media accounts.
• Basic understanding of storyboarding, content planning or social media analytics.
• Has a portfolio or samples of previous videos, designs or social media content.
