Job Description

What you'll do

• Assist in building demos, prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions for Generative AI projects related to government, public utility and infrastructure operation for Hong Kong's AI City Brain
• Support development, testing and deployment activities for AI applications, including RAG chatbots, digital human solutions and other AI innovations
• Conduct data preparation, content management and system testing for AI model evaluations
• Assist in solution demonstrations, technical documentation and project coordination activities
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related disciplines
• Knowledge of AI, machine learning, Generative AI or programming would be an advantage
• Candidates who can demonstrate knowledge of AI, or experience and ability to apply Generative AI tools in their work, will be preferred
• Good command of English and Chinese

Note:

1. Applicant may be considered for other positions if not matching the requirements of the subject position.

2. This is a position of internship programme of 6 months (from January 2027 to June 2027)

HKPC will take into consideration both the quantitative and qualitative requirements of the post when selecting the suitable candidates.  A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered.  The successful candidates will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
