Job Responsibilities:

1.       Assist with check-in, check-out, room assignment, room change procedures, and walk-in reservations.

2.       Ensure all guest data is accurately entered and updated in the hotel management system.

3.       Greet guests warmly, answer incoming phone calls, and handle front office email inquiries.

4.       Attend to guest inquiries and requests promptly, escalating complex complaints to supervisors when necessary.

5.       Learn and assist with cashier duties and payment processing at the Hotel Front Office.

6.       Coordinate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure smooth daily operations and guest satisfaction.

7.       Assist in performing closing audits and shift handovers at the end of the work shift.

8.       Participate in daily shift briefings to stay informed about daily hotel activities and VIP arrivals.

9.       Perform supporting roles and administrative tasks assigned by superiors to gain comprehensive hospitality experience.

Job Requirements:

1.       Education: Currently pursuing a Diploma or bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Tourism, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

2.       Duration: Able to commit to a full-time internship for a minimum period of 3 to 6 months.

3.       Skills: Basic language proficiency (English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage).

4.       Tech-Savvy: Digitally savvy, with a willingness to learn hotel management software and point-of-sale systems.

5.       Traits: Responsible, eager to learn, honest, and possessing a positive attitude toward customer service.

6.       Flexibility: Ability to work on a rotational shift basis (including morning, evening, and weekends/public holidays if required).
