The internship

You will spend the internship on two main things. The first is supporting the team's day-to-day research and portfolio work across asset classes. The second is a research project of your own: a question we genuinely want answered, which you will take from framing to final recommendation to the partners at the end of your internship.

Past and possible projects include:

• What would a sensible allocation to infrastructure look like for a generational portfolio
• How have long-horizon investors performed through past periods of high inflation
• Hedging in a high interest rate environment

What you will do

• Research companies, sectors, markets and macroeconomic themes, and summarise what matters for the portfolio
• Build financial models, valuation analyses and market screens
• Prepare material for investment discussions and portfolio reviews
• Track market developments and flag what is relevant to our holdings
• Lead your own research project and present your conclusions

What we look for

• Currently pursuing, or recently completed, a degree in finance, economics, mathematics or social sciences.
• Strong analytical and quantitative ability, and comfortable with Excel/ Bloomberg Terminal
• Clear, concise writing (without AI use)
• Curiosity about how markets and asset classes connect, and a genuine interest in investing
• Takes initiative. Good with uncertainty, can work out the next steps independently
• Prior investment experience is good.
