[6 months, 4-5 days/week] Name of Project: Digital Cockpit Advanced Project Research Objectives: Project Dune is a forward-looking R&D initiative focused on next-generation intelligent cockpit experiences, exploring AI-driven and novel HMI interaction paradigms on high-computing platforms. Main Tasks: - Project Management & Coordination (50%): Maintain project schedules, track milestones, organize cross-functional meetings, document meeting minutes and action items, manage risk logs, and support stakeholder communication. Ensure alignment across engineering, design, and strategy teams. - Product Design & Documentation (30%): Assist in defining product requirements, create user journey maps, draft feature specifications for AI-powered cockpit interactions, and contribute to concept proposals for new HMI modalities. - Reporting & PMO Support (20%): Compile weekly/monthly status reports, maintain project dashboards, update resource allocation trackers, and support gate review preparation. Key Deliverables: - Project tracking documentation (schedule, risk log, meeting minutes) - Product requirement documents (PRD) - Status reports & gate review materials Learning Opportunities: - Automotive Innovation Exposure: Gain first-hand experience in cutting-edge intelligent cockpit R&D, understanding how AI and next-gen HMI concepts evolve from early exploration to product definition in a global automotive environment. - End-to-End Project Management Skills: Develop practical PM competencies including cross-functional coordination, stakeholder management, milestone tracking, and risk mitigation within a real forward-looking R&D program. - Product Thinking for Emerging Tech: Learn how to translate advanced AI capabilities into tangible user-facing product concepts, bridging the gap between technology possibilities and real in-vehicle user needs.
