About the role

This role involves maintaining ICT systems, monitoring data integrity, and ensuring the reliability of technical infrastructure and services.

Key responsibilities

• Daily ICT maintenance: maintain computers, servers, network equipment, software, applications, databases, and storage
• Troubleshoot technical problems when systems or equipment fail
• Check whether data entered through the online system is correct
• Check manually entered data for completeness and accuracy
• Update both manual and online observation records in the system
• Ensure the latest information is properly recorded
• Record and review system logs for errors, failed processes, connection problems, or unusual system activity
• Back up important data regularly and archive older data for retrieval
• Check that backups are working properly
• Manage and maintain the Hydroinformatiks website, including checking availability, updating content, troubleshooting errors, and coordinating technical fixes

About you

• Available outside normal working hours when required for 24-hour standby
• Able to respond to critical system or data problems and provide technical feedback
