Intern, Institutional Sales, Global Institution Coverage

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the senior sales team on daily institutional client relationship management, including meeting preparation, client information filing, meeting minutes collation, and follow-up task coordination.
• Assist in market research and industry intelligence collection: track Hong Kong capital market regulatory updates, foreign institutional investment trends, fixed income, derivatives and cross-border structured product market dynamics.
• Prepare presentation materials, pitch decks, product introduction documents and roadshow supporting materials for institutional client pitching and corporate access activities.
• Conduct data sorting, business performance statistics, client portfolio summary and regular report drafting for internal review.
• Coordinate cross-departmental communication with product, trading, compliance and back-office teams to facilitate client onboarding, deal execution and post-transaction follow-up.
• Ad-hoc administrative and operational tasks assigned by the institutional sales supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Undergraduate or postgraduate final-year student graduating in 2026, major in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering or other business-related disciplines.
• Strong interest in institutional sales, FICC, fixed income, derivatives and cross-border structured product business; basic financial product knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese preferred); capable of drafting English research summaries and client presentation slides independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); good data processing, logical analysis and document summarization capability.
• Meticulous, proactive, strong communication skills and teamwork spirit, able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Prior internship experience in securities broker, asset management firm, investment bank or financial institution is highly advantageous.
