Position: Hub Intern (Itahari Hub)

Job Description:

The Hub Intern supports the daily ground operations of the Itahari hub, ensuring seamless package handling, efficient last-mile delivery, and accurate administrative record-keeping. Working closely under the guidance of the Hub In-Charge, this role manages receiving, system entries, cash reconciliation, rider support, and return logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in receiving parcels from the Kathmandu hub and recording them accurately in the system.
2. Support the allocation of tasks to delivery agents under the supervision of the Hub In-Charge.
3. Help track and reconcile COD collections from delivery agents and prepare them for bank deposit.
4. Coordinate with delivery riders and assist in onboarding new riders.
5. Help manage communication with the transportation company for return shipments.
6. Maintain office documents and records, and ensure basic administrative support for daily hub operations.
7. Assist in providing Walk-In Support (WIS) to riders for issues not solvable through online platforms.

Qualifications:

1. Pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
2. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
3. Target-driven with excellent interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work independently and manage field activities effectively.
5. Should be familiar with the internet, email, Google Sheets, and MS Office (Word/Excel).
6. Should have a bike driving license.
