Role Description The Intern – Kitchen role is a full-time, on-site position based at The Soaltee Resort Shovapuri National Park, Budhanilkantha.

The intern will support daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, basic cooking tasks, and assisting chefs with mise en place for various meal periods. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in workstations, organizing ingredients and supplies, and adhering to safety and sanitation standards. The intern will help with plating and presentation under supervision, learn standard recipes and procedures, and assist in inventory checks and storage of ingredients. This role offers practical exposure to a professional hospitality kitchen, providing hands-on learning and experience in luxury hotel culinary services.

Qualifications

• Interest in culinary arts or hospitality, with a willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and kitchen tools; prior internship or training in a kitchen is an advantage.
• Strong attention to hygiene, safety, and cleanliness, following hotel and regulatory standards.
• Good teamwork, communication, and time-management skills, with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Enrollment in or completion of a hospitality, culinary, or related program is preferred.
• Availability for full-time on-site work in Budhanilkantha, with flexibility for shift schedules, weekends, and holidays.
• Professional attitude, reliability, and a customer-service mindset aligned with luxury hotel standards.
