Role & Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements, specifications, and functional requirements.
• Assist senior QA team members in preparing and executing manual test cases.
• Perform functional, UI, usability, and regression testing of web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and report bugs with clear steps to reproduce.
• Retest reported bugs after fixes and verify that the issues are resolved.
• Perform basic exploratory testing to identify unexpected issues.
• Verify application functionality from an end-user perspective.
• Maintain proper records of test cases, test results, and reported defects.
• Participate in requirement discussions, QA meetings, and project reviews.
• Communicate testing progress, issues, and observations to the QA team and developers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or pursuing a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Basic knowledge of different types of software testing, including Functional, Regression, UI, and Smoke Testing.
• Basic understanding of test cases, test scenarios, and bug reporting.
• Familiarity with issue-tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar tools is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies.
• Ability to think from an end-user perspective.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Strong interest in software quality and software testing.

Pay: From ₹5,000.00 per month
