Intern Payroll

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing monthly payroll data and verifying employee information.
• Support attendance, overtime, leave, and claims reconciliation.
• Maintain and update employee records in the payroll system.
• Assist with statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB) and payroll documentation.
• Prepare payroll reports, spreadsheets, and supporting documents.
• Ensure payroll records are accurate, complete, and kept confidential.
• Assist in responding to employee payroll-related enquiries.
• Support HR administrative tasks and filing.
• Participate in payroll improvement projects and perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP is an advantage).
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• High attention to detail with good organizational skills.
• Able to maintain confidentiality when handling payroll information.
• Good communication skills
• Willing to learn and able to work independently as well as in a team.
