INTERN - PRESCHOOL TEACHER (Hostel Provided)

Job Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic and responsible Intern Teachers who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in early childhood education.

As an Intern Teacher, you will have the opportunity to learn and experience the daily operations of a preschool while working closely with experienced teachers and the Principal. This role is suitable for students or individuals who are looking to build practical skills and experience working with young children.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Classroom Support
Assist teachers with daily classroom activities, routines, and learning sessions.

2. Support Children's Learning
Assist in preparing and conducting simple activities that encourage children's learning, creativity, communication, and development.

3. Childcare & Supervision
Assist teachers in ensuring children's safety, wellbeing, cleanliness, and daily needs are properly taken care of.

4. Classroom Preparation
Help prepare teaching materials, learning resources, classroom displays, activities, and other materials required for lessons.

5. Classroom Management
Support teachers in maintaining a positive, organised, and engaging classroom environment.

6. Participate in School Activities
Assist with school events, celebrations, Open Days, Sports Days, and other activities organised by the school.

7. Learn & Develop
Observe and learn from experienced teachers and the Principal while gaining practical knowledge of preschool teaching and classroom management.

8. Teamwork & Daily Operations
Work together with teachers and the school team to ensure smooth daily operations and contribute positively to the school environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Currently pursuing a Diploma, Degree, or relevant programme in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field is preferred.
• Passionate about working with young children.
• Responsible, patient, caring, and willing to learn.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work well as part of a team.
• Energetic, proactive, and willing to participate in classroom activities.
• Able to follow instructions and school policies.
• Previous experience working with children is an advantage but not required.
