Intern (Production)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Intern (Production) to join ALPHAESS MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. in Kulim, Kedah. This is a Intern contract position that offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience within a dynamic manufacturing and production environment in the battery storage system of green energy renewal sector. You will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on exposure to production processes, quality assurance, and operational excellence. This internship is designed to provide you with valuable real-world experience whilst contributing meaningfully to our production operations.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with the assembly, testing and quality inspection of electrical and electronic components and products
• Supporting production team members with routine manufacturing tasks and maintaining production workstations
• Monitoring product quality and identifying any defects or deviations from specifications
• Assisting with inventory management, stock rotation and organisation of production materials
• Contributing to the maintenance and cleanliness of production areas in accordance with health and safety standards
• Supporting the documentation and recording of production data and test results
• Observing and learning manufacturing processes, equipment operation and standard operating procedures
• Assisting with troubleshooting of minor production issues under supervision
• Supporting the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the production department

What we're looking for

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy in all tasks
• Ability to follow instructions carefully and adhere to standard operating procedures
• Practical aptitude and willingness to learn new technical skills and processes
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Punctuality, reliability and a professional approach to work
• Physical capability to perform tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting and fine manual work
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
• Preferably, previous experience in a manufacturing, production or laboratory environment
