Intern, Psychology

Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our Psychology & Learning Centre. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment focused on psychological support and learning enhancement. The ideal candidate will be passionate about psychology, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to various projects that support our mission.

- Client Support: Observe and assist in counseling sessions, workshops, and other client interactions. Provide administrative support during client sessions, including note-taking and scheduling follow-ups. Help maintain and organize client records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

- Program Development: Contribute to the development of educational materials and resources for workshops and learning modules. Assist in the planning and execution of events and workshops aimed at enhancing learning and mental well-being.

- Administrative Duties: Support the daily operations of the Psychology & Learning Centre, including managing appointments and responding to inquiries. Assist with the maintenance of the Centre's digital and physical resources. Help with the coordination and communication of program activities.

- Learning and Development: Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your understanding of psychology and learning strategies. Engage in reflective practice and supervision sessions to discuss experiences and insights gained during the internship.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field.

• Strong interest in mental health, counseling, and educational development. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic data analysis tools. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
