Required Skills

• Strong law school academics and technical legal ability, suited for complex cross-border transactions and disputes.
• Cross-border mindset, able to work across multiple Asian jurisdictions (China, Hong Kong, Japan, Southeast Asia, India, Australia, etc.).
• Bilingual or multilingual skills, especially English plus Mandarin Chinese, Japanese or Korean.
• Interest or experience in key Asia practice areas
• Ability to handle high-pressure, high-value matters involving major Asian and global companies.
• Collaborative working style, with strong communication skills and cultural adaptability across offices.
• Commitment to excellence, integrity, and client service, reflecting the firm’s global standards.

Required Education

• The internship is open to law school students in Hong Kong

Details

During the program, students will:

• Learn about the firm’s history, culture, and global presence
• Attend presentations from our Corporate, Private Equity, Capital Markets, Funds, Banking and Credit, Real Estate, Restructuring and Special Situations practice groups
• Work closely with lawyers on real matters, where appropriate
• Participate in training sessions, workshops, and seminars led by practitioners across Asia
• Connect with a dedicated mentor from the firm who will provide guidance, support, and insight throughout the program
• Join networking events and informal discussions with attorneys
• Gain valuable exposure to cross-border transactional and advisory work in two of the region’s most dynamic legal markets
