About the Role

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our marketing agency and create engaging short-form content for Instagram, YouTube Shorts and other social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and promotional videos.
• Create engaging edits with strong hooks, cuts, transitions, captions and sound effects.
• Add subtitles, text animations, B-roll and suitable music.
• Follow brand guidelines and maintain consistency across content.
• Edit videos according to scripts, references and client requirements.
• Work on multiple client accounts across different industries.
• Keep up with current social media editing trends and formats.
• Deliver projects within agreed deadlines.
• Take feedback and make revisions when required.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / CapCut / After Effects or similar tools.
• Good understanding of Instagram Reels and short-form content.
• Sense of timing, storytelling and visual composition.
• Creativity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn and experiment with new editing styles.

Preferred Skills

• Motion graphics and text animation.
• Color correction/grading.
• Sound design.
• Experience editing talking-head videos, product videos and UGC content.
• Knowledge of social media trends.
