Internal Audit Associate

About the role

This role involves conducting internal audits of financial, operational, and administrative processes, reviewing transactions and records for accuracy, and evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits of financial, operational, and administrative processes
• Review transactions, records, reports, and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements
• Identify potential risks, control weaknesses, irregularities, and process gaps
• Assist in preparing audit working papers, reports, and documentation
• Perform follow-up audits to monitor the implementation of corrective actions
• Coordinate with various departments during audit activities and gather necessary information
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable regulations
• Assist in investigating discrepancies and unusual transactions when necessary
• Maintain confidentiality of audit findings and sensitive company information

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Internal Audit, or a related field
• Preferably with experience in internal audit, external audit, accounting, or compliance
• Knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and audit procedures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with different departments
