Internal Audit

Key Responsibilities

• Execute risk-based internal audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, documentation, and reporting.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, operational processes, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Identify control gaps and business risks, and provide practical recommendations to improve operational efficiency and governance.
• Monitor and follow up on the implementation of audit findings and corrective action plans.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes in accordance with accounting standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide support during external audits, tax audits, and regulatory reviews.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing financial and audit processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Internal Audit, Accounting, or External Audit.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal control frameworks, and audit methodologies.
• Familiar with financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
