Internal Audit – Consultant/ Senior Consultant

Key responsibilities

• Perform internal audit and risk management engagements for public listed companies.
• Perform internal control, risk management, corporate governance, ESG and sustainability reviews for companies preparing for listing on Bursa Malaysia.
• Prepare audit working papers and reports, and communicate findings to Management.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients.
• Assist in any other ad-hoc assignments.

About you

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business/ Commerce/ Economics/ Accounting/ Finance or related fields.
• IIA, CIA or ACCA certification or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
• Possess knowledge of Bursa Malaysia Sustainability Reporting Guides, Malaysian Code of Corporate Governance, Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Framework is preferred
• 2 to 5 years of relevant working experience is preferred
• Fluent in both writing and speaking English (Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia or other languages would be an added advantage)
• Strong communication, analytical and critical thinking skills are preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office application
• Willing to travel as and when required
