Internal Audit Manager

Position: Manager Risk Consulting

Location: Hyderabad

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Manager to join our Risk Consulting practice. The role will involve leading and delivering Internal Audit, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) reviews and development, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Internal Financial Controls (IFC), and other risk consulting engagements across diverse industry sectors. The individual will be responsible for managing client relationships, leading engagement teams, driving business development initiatives, and delivering high-quality consulting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Internal Audit, SOP, ERM, IFC, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), and other risk consulting assignments.
• Plan, execute, review, and deliver engagements while ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and provide practical recommendations to enhance governance, risk management, and control frameworks.
• Develop and review SOPs, process documentation, risk and control matrices, and internal control frameworks.
• Lead client discussions, present findings to senior management, and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Manage engagement teams, including coaching, mentoring, performance management, and capability development of team members.
• Support practice growth through business development activities, proposal preparation, client presentations, and identifying cross-selling opportunities.
• Contribute to thought leadership, knowledge management, and development of risk consulting methodologies and tools.
• Demonstrate flexibility and ownership in handling multiple engagements in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in Internal Audit, Risk Advisory, ERM, IFC, SOP reviews, Process Improvement, or related consulting assignments.
• Prior experience with a Big 4 firm or a reputed consulting organization is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of governance, risk management, internal controls, and business processes.
• Experience in managing client engagements and leading teams independently.
• Excellent communication, presentation, report writing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
• Ability to thrive in a highly motivated and performance-driven environment while effectively managing work pressure and competing priorities.
• Demonstrated leadership mindset with the ability to take ownership of challenging assignments and drive outcomes.
