Internal Audit Officer

Acme Mills (Pvt.) Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Internal Audit Officer to conduct internal audits of company departments, operational processes, inventory and documentation. The position will be responsible for identifying discrepancies, control weaknesses and process gaps and reporting observations to management.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits of company departments, operational processes and procedures.
• Review and verify financial, operational and supporting documents.
• Conduct physical verification of raw materials, inventory, work-in-process and finished goods.
• Perform stock counts and reconcile physical stock with system/register records.
• Verify inventory movements, material receipts, issues, transfers and adjustments.
• Review documentation related to purchases, stores, production and other operational activities.
• Check compliance with company policies, SOPs and internal control procedures.
• Identify discrepancies, control weaknesses, irregularities and potential operational risks.
• Coordinate with Stores, Production, Accounts and other departments during audit activities.
• Prepare audit reports and clearly document audit observations and findings.
• Follow up with relevant departments regarding corrective actions and audit observations.
• Maintain proper audit working papers, supporting documents and records.
• Assist management in improving internal controls, inventory accuracy and operational processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in Internal Audit / Audit.
• Experience in manufacturing or textile industry will be preferred.
• Practical knowledge of inventory audit, stock verification and reconciliation.
• Good understanding of internal controls, SOPs and audit procedures.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and ability to work with reports and data.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and conduct physical verification/audit activities at factory and departments.

Working Days: Monday – Saturday
Working Hours: 09:00 AM – 06:00 PM
