Job Position: Internal Audit Officer

Job Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and perform full audit cycles, including risk management and operational reviews.
• Test and assess the design and effectiveness of internal company controls.
• Examine financial statements, ledger entries, and operational records to spot discrepancies or anomalies.
• Assist in investigating suspected fraud, material misconduct, or policy violations.
• Prepare clear audit reports and present findings and risk-mitigation recommendations to senior management and the audit committee.
• Monitor and verify that management properly implements recommended corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal auditing, public accounting, or a related financial role.
• Strong attention to detail and critical-thinking abilities to review large datasets.
• Clear verbal and written skills to explain complex findings to non-financial stakeholders.

Remuneration

N193, 000 net / month.
