Internal Audit (Process Audit) (CA & CMA Only)

Opening with a leading Manufacturing company for their office in Pune

Role: Internal Audit (Process Audit)

Experience: 3 to 8 Years

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct process audits across manufacturing plants, production, procurement, stores, inventory, supply chain, and finance.
• Review internal controls, SOPs, and compliance with company policies.
• Identify process gaps, control weaknesses, operational risks, and non-compliance.
• Conduct audits of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), finished goods, scrap, and inventory management.
• Review purchase processes, vendor management, material consumption, and production planning.
• Check adherence to standard operating procedures and company policies.
• Verify fixed assets, capital expenditure (CAPEX), and operating expenses (OPEX), where applicable.
• Prepare audit reports highlighting observations, risks, and recommendations.
• Coordinate with respective departments to ensure timely closure of audit observations.
• Track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and conduct follow-up audits.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost control, and operational efficiency.
• Review ERP/SAP transactions and reports to identify process deviations and control gaps.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of internal audit, process audit, and internal controls.
• Understanding of manufacturing and plant operations.
• Knowledge of inventory, procurement, production, stores, and supply chain processes.
• Experience in risk assessment, audit reporting, and root cause analysis.
• Good analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of SAP/ERP systems and MS Excel.

Educational Qualification

• CA / CMA qualification.
• Relevant internal audit or process audit certifications will be an advantage.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in internal audit or process audit within a manufacturing company.
• Exposure to plant audits, inventory audits, procurement audits, and operational audits.
• Experience in identifying control gaps and ensuring timely closure of audit findings.
