Internal Audit Professional (AI Audit Technology / Data Analytics Specialist)

Main Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of the Division’s AI and data analytics strategy to enhance audit effectiveness, efficiency, and coverage.

• Conduct risk assessment and auditing using data analytics, automation, and AI techniques for risk identification and insights.

• Develop, maintain, and implement audit analytics tools, dashboards, AI solutions, and automation capabilities to support audit planning, testing, monitoring and reporting.

• Collaborate with audit teams to identify and implement data analytics and AI use cases across the audit lifecycle.

• Assist in evaluation and adoption of AI technologies, including LLMs and AI agents, for audit applications.

• Establish standardized analytics methodologies, toolkits, and reusable testing scripts to strengthen audit capabilities.

• Monitor emerging technologies, AI developments, and regulatory trends to support continuous improvement of audit methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Information Technology, or related disciplines.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics, technology risk, internal audit, data science, AI, or related fields.

• Experience in banking, financial services or technology sectors is preferred.

• Proficient in Python, SQL, Power BI Tableau, SAS, or similar analytics tools.

• Experience in developing analytics solutions, automation tools, dashboards, or AI-enabled applications.

• Knowledge of AI, machine learning, LLMs, or data governance is an advantage.

• Professional certifications such as CISA, CIA, FRM, or AI/cloud-related certifications are advantageous.

• Strong analytical communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• High level of integrity, independence and professional competence.

• Proficient in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
