Internal Audit Staff

About the role

This role involves ensuring organizational compliance with internal regulations and established control protocols, executing internal audit procedures, and validating corrective and preventive actions. You will reconcile documentation with actual inventory and assets, assess the condition and safety of machinery and equipment, and perform detailed inspections and audits of facilities and permits.

Key responsibilities

• Ensures that the organization complies with internal regulations and established control protocol
• Assist in the execution of the Internal Audit procedure and completion of Internal Audit Plan
• Assure that Corrective and Preventive Actions committed by auditees are validated real time
• Reconciles documentation with actual inventory or assets to ascertain accuracy
• Assess the condition, functionality and safety of various machines, tools, equipment and other requested asset and inventoriables
• Perform detailed inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, tools and permits
• Prepares reports and preserves up to date documentation pertaining to audits for internal record
• Analyses audit results to determine methods for increasing profits and decreasing unnecessary costs
• Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures, cost savings and improvement of efficiency for department's processes
• Participates in meetings with individuals and departments to update auditees on findings and the audit process

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other equivalent
• Minimum of one year related experience and training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office, Policies and Procedures, Inventory Cycle, Root Cause Analysis, and Machineries, Tools and Equipment
• Possess high integrity and high level of confidentiality
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong personality, efficient, mature and can work with minimum supervision
• Ability to analyze current processes and make recommendations for improvement
• Ability to analyze data to identify risks and inefficiencies
• Computer skills including the ability to operate computerized spreadsheet and word processing programs at highly proficient level
• Strong research and problem-solving abilities
