Internal Audit Supervisor

About the role

Create task time schedules and set the number of internal auditors needed for the audit of each function or audit project to ensure that the task performing is in line with the set plan.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and lead internal audit assignments to ensure timely and effective execution in accordance with the internal audit plan.
• Review audit programs, working papers, and audit evidence to ensure completeness and compliance with internal audit standards.
• Evaluate internal control systems, operational processes, and risk management practices across departments.
• Identify weaknesses and provide practical recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
• Prepare and review draft audit reports, including findings and action plans, before submission to the Audit Manager.
• Provide mentor and on-the-job training to junior auditors and ensure continuous development of the audit team.
• Assist in developing risk-based audit plans and contribute to improving the overall audit methodology and tools.
• Ensure audit tasks are conducted ethically, objectively, and in line with professional standards (e.g., IIA standards).
