Internal Audit Trainees

Internal Audit Trainees:

The Internal Audit trainee will assist in executing risk-based internal audit assignments across the Group's operations in Pakistan and international entities. The role provides an excellent opportunity for a fresh ACCA professional to gain exposure to financial, operational, compliance, and process audits while developing expertise in internal controls, risk management, and business process evaluation:

Responsibilities:

• Executing internal audit assignments in accordance with the approved Internal Audit plan, under the guidance of the Manager Internal Audit.
• Conduct remote auditing for group entities in PK, UAE, Qatar, Egypt and KSA
• Perform audit procedures including:
• Process walkthroughs
• Interviews with process owners
• Review of supporting documentation
• Sample testing
• Transaction verification
• Control testing
• Prepare and maintain complete, accurate, and organized audit working papers in accordance with Internal Audit methodology and professional standards.
• Document audit procedures performed, evidence obtained, observations identified, and conclusions reached.
• Assist in drafting audit observations by clearly articulating:
• Condition
• Root Cause
• Risk/Impact
• Recommendation
• Support the preparation of audit reports for management review.
• Review business activities for compliance with company policies, procedures, delegated authorities, applicable regulations, and internal control requirements.
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and recommend practical improvements where required.
• Perform special assignments, investigations, and other audit-related assignments as directed by the Manager Internal Audit.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives with the HOD Internal Audit function.

Requirements:

• ACCA-qualified personnel (that means all papers are completed)
• Location should be from Lahore & KHI
