Internal Auditor, AM/Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Company, its subsidiaries and affiliate companies in establishing, enhancing and implementing appropriate internal control systems, policies, procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Develop, plan and execute the annual internal audit plan and special audit engagements across the Company and its subsidiaries and affiliate companies.
• Conduct end-to-end internal audit engagements, including audit planning, preparation of working papers, issuance of audit reports, presentation of findings and recommendations and follow-up on agreed corrective actions.
• Periodically assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the governance, risk management and internal control processes of the Company and its subsidiaries and affiliate companies, and recommend practical improvements to strengthen controls and enhance operational efficiency.
• Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, IPO sponsors and advisors, professional consultants and regulatory authorities in connection with audits, due diligence exercises, reviews and inspections.
• Perform other duties, special reviews and ad hoc assignments as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline. A professional qualification or membership with a recognized professional accountancy body or the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) would be an advantage.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in internal and/or external audit, preferably including at least 2 years in an Assistant Manager or equivalent managerial capacity.
• Experience in IPO readiness, IPO-related internal controls, due diligence or a listed-company environment would be a strong advantage. Experience in the semiconductor, electronics or technology industry is preferred.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, with sound professional judgement and the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
