About the role

PT Sam Bound Mitra Indonesia is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join our quality assurance and control team. This is a full-time position based in Brebes, Central Java. As Internal Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices across our manufacturing and logistics operations. This position is fundamental to maintaining our operational excellence and safeguarding the integrity of our business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular internal audits across manufacturing, transport, and logistics operations to evaluate compliance with established procedures and regulatory requirements
• Develop and implement comprehensive audit plans and schedules aligned with company risk assessments and strategic objectives
• Perform detailed reviews of financial records, operational documentation, and quality control systems to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement
• Document audit findings, observations, and recommendations in clear, professional reports
• Follow up on corrective actions and remediation efforts to ensure timely resolution of identified issues
• Collaborate with departmental managers and supervisors to assess operational efficiency and control effectiveness
• Maintain comprehensive audit documentation and records in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards
• Communicate audit results to senior management and relevant stakeholders
• Stay current with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in quality assurance and manufacturing operations

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in internal audit, quality assurance, or a similar compliance-focused role
• Strong knowledge of audit methodologies, internal control frameworks, and quality management systems
• Experience auditing manufacturing, logistics, or transport operations is highly desirable
• Familiarity with relevant Indonesian regulations and ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or similar)
• Proficiency in audit software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities in Indonesian and English
• Professional certification such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CPA, or equivalent is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a structured environment
• Integrity, confidentiality, and objectivity in all audit activities
