JOB SUMMARY

The Internal Auditor is responsible for reviewing company transactions, records, procedures, and operational activities to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to company policies and internal controls.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct regular audits of restaurant branches, head office operations, cash handling, inventory, and other company activities.
• Review financial and operational records for accuracy and completeness.
• Verify sales, cash collections, expenses, inventory movements, and supporting documents.
• Check compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Identify discrepancies, irregularities, errors, and potential control weaknesses.
• Conduct physical inventory counts and reconciliation when assigned.
• Review documents such as invoices, receipts, purchase orders, reports, and other supporting records.
• Perform surprise audits and spot checks when required.
• Prepare audit findings and supporting documentation.
• Prepare clear and accurate audit reports for management.
• Recommend appropriate corrective actions and improvements when issues are identified.
• Monitor previously reported findings and follow up on corrective actions.
• Coordinate with branch personnel, restaurant managers, finance staff, and other departments during audit activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of company records and audit information.
• Ensure all audit working papers and documentation are properly organized and maintained.
• Assist in improving internal control procedures and operational processes.
• Perform other audit-related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Internal Auditing, Finance, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome and encourage to apply.
• Previous audit, accounting, finance, or restaurant operations experience is an advantage but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working with numbers, reports, and financial documents.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Honest, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Willing to conduct branch visits and field audits when required.
• Willing to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to learn and undergo training.
