Internal Auditor

For our client, we are seeking a Internal Auditor to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.

This role will support audit planning and execution across banking-related operations, helping to strengthen compliance, risk management, and control effectiveness. The Internal Auditor will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate processes, test controls, and deliver assurance across multiple areas of the business. The position plays an important part in identifying issues, validating results, and supporting regulatory readiness in a highly regulated environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $124,800 – $312,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Plan and scope the audit test approach
• Document test procedures and collect evidence for test results
• Support audit execution and validate issues across multiple banking projects
• Oversee and deliver assurance activities related to audit plans and regulatory compliance
• Handle additional responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

• 3+ years of audit experience in large banking institutions across various departments
• Experience in bank operations, consumer and commercial lending, risk management, regulatory reporting, finance, and AML/BSA
• Strong knowledge of audit execution, testing, and assurance processes
