Internal Auditor

Audit & Risk Recruitment are partnering with an iconic, instantly recognisable FTSE 100 retail business in the search for an Internal Auditor to join their established Internal Audit & Risk function. This is a broad and varied opportunity, providing exposure across the UK and internationally while playing a key role in shaping how the business operates.

As an Internal Auditor, you will lead and deliver risk-based audits from planning through to reporting, working closely with business partners at all levels. The role offers you broad exposure across different areas of the business and the opportunity to contribute to the annual audit plan and will see you covering a range of audit topics from suppliers and sourcing to health and safety and change and transformation. Some UK and international travel may be required, circa 10%.

The successful candidate must have Internal Audit experience gained within a non-FS in-house or practice environment, with experience delivering on a variety of risk-based audits. A professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or IIA) would be beneficial alongside retail or commercial environments.
