Internal Auditor

Internal Auditor - Real Estate and Marine Logistics Business

Support internal audit activities by assessing business processes, internal controls, risks, and compliance, and providing practical recommendations for improvement.

Work Location: based in Bang Wua, Bang Pakong, Chachoengsao

Working days: Monday to Friday. Required to work on-site on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits according to the approved audit plan under the supervision of the Audit Team Leader or Manager.
• Review business processes, internal controls, risk management, compliance, and financial information.
• Perform preliminary risk assessments and identify key risks and control points.
• Prepare audit work programs, working papers, and supporting documentation in accordance with professional standards.
• Collect, analyze, and evaluate audit evidence to identify findings, root causes, impacts, and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare draft audit reports and present audit findings and recommendations to supervisors.
• Participate in Opening Meetings and Exit Meetings with auditees and maintain effective communication throughout the audit process.
• Follow up on audit recommendations and corrective actions.
• Support special projects such as new system implementation, M&A activities, and fraud investigations.
• Utilize audit tools and technologies, including Data Analytics and Audit Software, to improve audit effectiveness.
• Maintain independence, objectivity, confidentiality, and professional ethics in all audit activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in Internal Audit, Audit, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Knowledge of business processes, accounting, finance, internal controls, and risk management.
• Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze information, identify issues, and communicate practical recommendations.
• Good command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of Internal Audit standards / IIA IPPF is an advantage.
• Experience with Data Analytics or Audit Software is an advantage.
