Internal Auditor

Tastia Restaurant and Bakery is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Internal Auditor to oversee our daily financial operations, inventory tracking, and cost controls across our Abuja branches. The ideal candidate will combine strong traditional accounting expertise with a deep understanding of restaurant operations, POS platforms, and food cost dynamics.
Key Responsibilities

• Financial Operations: Oversee daily transactions, record entries in the general ledger, and manage cash flow.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile daily cash and credit card/POS transactions, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and income statements.
• Cost & Inventory: Monitor food and labor costs, assist with inventory valuation, and develop cost-saving strategies.
• Compliance & Taxes: Compute taxes, prepare tax returns, and ensure adherence to financial regulations.
• Management Support: Oversee day-to-day operations alongside financial tracking to support business decisions.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as an Accountant, Cashier Supervisor, or Manager in a hospitality, restaurant, or retail setting.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software; strong knowledge of restaurant-specific operations like POS systems and inventory management.
• Competencies: Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills with high attention to detail.

Pay: ₦170,000.00 - ₦220,000.00 per month
