Internal Auditor

Job Scope:

·        Internal Audit & Internal Controls
Conduct risk-based audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, business processes, policies and procedures across the Group.

·        Risk Management & Compliance
Identify operational and compliance risks, assess control gaps, and recommend appropriate measures to strengthen risk management and regulatory compliance.

·        Corporate Governance Review
Review adherence to corporate policies, governance practices, applicable laws, regulatory requirements and internal standards.

·        Business & Operational Audit
Perform audits across key business functions, including property development, construction, procurement, sales & marketing, finance, HR and mall operations.

·        Audit Reporting & Follow-Up
Prepare audit reports highlighting findings, root causes, risk implications and recommendations, and monitor management’s corrective actions until closure.

·        IPO & Special Audit Projects
Support IPO/listing readiness, internal control enhancement and special investigations or reviews, including fraud, irregularities and other ad-hoc assignments as required.

Requirements:

·        Degree in Accounting, Finance, Internal Audit, Business Administration, Risk Management or a related discipline.

·        Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, Compliance or a related field. Experience in property development, construction or corporate environments will be an added advantage.

·        Strong knowledge of internal control, risk management, audit methodologies, corporate governance and compliance practices. Familiarity with ISO 9001 is an advantage.

·        Knowledge or experience in IPO/listing exercises, Bursa Malaysia requirements or corporate governance will be highly advantageous.

·        Strong analytical, report-writing, communication and interpersonal skills, with good attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
