Internal Auditor

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in internal audit planning by reviewing existing internal controls, assessing their effectiveness, and identifying potential risks and areas for improvement.
• Conduct risk-based audit testing and compliance reviews to evaluate adherence to established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Recommend corrective actions for identified audit findings and monitor the progress of agreed-upon action plans.
• Execute assigned internal audit programs and projects in accordance with established audit standards and timelines.
• Prepare and submit audit reports, including findings, recommendations, and regular progress updates.
• Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable government laws and regulations across business units and branches.
• Provide audit-related inputs for management reports and discuss significant findings and recommendations with concerned stakeholders, as needed.
• Participate in departmental planning, performance appraisal activities, and other initiatives that support the objectives of the Internal Audit Group.
• Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

1. Graduate of bachelor’s degree course in Accountancy/Internal Auditing/Management Accounting/Accounting Information Systems
