Internal Auditor

Job Brief

The Internal Auditor assesses internal controls, reviews business processes and financial records, and helps identify and address risks across a water cup production company.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct risk-based audits of financial, operational, procurement, inventory and production processes
• Review controls over sales, receivables, collections, cash, production consumption and waste
• Assess compliance with company policies and the effectiveness of internal controls
• Examine transactions, reconciliations and supporting records; identify control gaps and risks
• Document evidence and prepare reports with practical recommendations
• Discuss findings with management and follow up on corrective actions
• Coordinate with departments while maintaining confidentiality and professional independence

Requirements Qualifications

• Iraqi national
• At least 5 years of internal audit experience
• An internal audit certification is required
• Knowledge of internal controls, risk assessment and audit procedures
• Manufacturing or FMCG experience is preferred
