Internal Auditor - Technology

Within the Internal Audit Division, we are looking for an Internal Auditor – Technology. Your call will be to execute the annual Internal Audit Plan and conduct assigned assurance and consulting engagements. The role includes performing planned and unplanned internal audits, with a special focus on IT/OT areas, and supporting the Internal Audit Division on technical aspects of auditable areas. Your tasks will indicatively include:

• Participate in the annual risk assessment process for the preparation and development of the Internal Audit Plan
• Perform internal audits, including preliminary survey and risk assessment, planning, preparing audit work papers, analyzing and documenting processes and audit evidence, document findings or improvement opportunities and prepare internal audit reports
• Monitor the degree of compliance of the DESFA organizational units with the Company’s processes and procedures of the Corporate System (special focus on IT/OT aspects), issued as a result of the audit reports submitted, and report progress
• Communicate the audit results, observations and recommendations of assurance and consulting engagements to Management and Audit Committee, as well as conduct periodic follow-up of agreed actions
• Build and maintain productive audit internal client relationships through individual contact and group meetings, participate in audit kick-off and closing meetings with the audit clients
• Prepare and maintain high-quality audit documentation and working papers in accordance with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (IIA Standards) and Internal Audit methodology
• Implement adaptations and updating actions in the area of responsibility, when required, considering the current organizational and operational requirements of the company
• Be in line with general and specific corporate processes and procedures and suggest areas for improvement

Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or Diploma in Engineering
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CIA, CRISC, CRMA, ISO Lead Auditor or equivalent will be considered a plus
• At least ten (10) years of relevant working experience in providing assurance on technical/engineering areas. Experience on audits performed in the energy industry and/or within an organization providing assurance or certification or technical advisory services will be considered a plus
• Very good knowledge of MS Office suite and SAP ERP platform, especially SAP role-based access control concepts, access reviews and SoD testing using SAP data extracts
• Knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools (i.e. Power BI) will be considered a plus
• Excellent use and command of the English language
