🎯 About the Role

RiskCherry is looking for an Internal Compliance Auditor to step into the ownership of our internal audit framework and help ensure our integrated management system, operational processes and compliance controls remain effective and aligned with applicable standards and regulations.

This is not a box-ticking audit role.

You will work across the organisation to independently assess processes and controls, identify risks and opportunities for improvement, and turn audit findings into meaningful action.

Operating within the highly regulated iGaming and testing environment, the role combines internal auditing, compliance with applicable requirements, risk management and management-system assurance.

⚒️ What You’ll Do

Management System Compliance Assurance

• Assess the effectiveness of our integrated management system and evaluate its conformity with applicable ISO standards, accreditation requirements, relevant regulations and internal policies.

External Assurance & Stakeholder Engagement

• Coordinate with external auditors, certification and accreditation bodies.

• Support external assessments by ensuring audit evidence, corrective actions and management-system records are accurate and readily available.

• Help translate external assessment findings into meaningful organisational improvements.

Internal Audits, Risk & Continuous Improvement

• Take ownership of and continuously develop RiskCherry’s internal audit framework, methodology and annual audit programme.

• Plan and conduct risk-based internal audits across the organisation.

• Prepare clear, evidence-based audit reports, communicating findings, associated risks and recommended actions to relevant stakeholders and senior management.

• Track agreed actions through to closure and independently verify their effectiveness.

• Evaluate operational and compliance risks, internal controls and process effectiveness.

• Identify weaknesses and opportunities for improvement, providing practical and proportionate recommendations.

• Work collaboratively with teams to strengthen processes and controls while maintaining audit independence and objectivity.

• Identify recurring issues, systemic risks and opportunities for improvement across the organisation.

✅ What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who understands that good auditing goes beyond identifying what is wrong. It means understanding why something is happening, what risk it creates and what a practical solution looks like.

Ideally, you will bring:

• At least 1 year of experience in iGaming audit, technical or regulatory compliance, or a similar role in another highly regulated environment.

• Practical experience conducting internal audits, compliance reviews or management-system assessments is considered a plus.

• Familiarity with ISO standards, management systems and conformity assessment is considered a plus.

• Understanding of regulatory compliance, risk-based auditing and internal controls.

• Strong analytical and investigative skills, with excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently, communicate findings clearly and engage confidently with operational teams and senior management.

• Excellent written and spoken English, professional integrity and sound judgement.

• Ability to maintain attention to detail without losing sight of the broader regulatory, accreditation and management-system requirements.

A background in Law, Information Technology, software, information security or related disciplines is an advantage, but not essential where equivalent professional experience can be demonstrated.

Experience or qualifications in any of the following would be particularly valuable:

• ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17020, ISO/IEC 17025 or ISO/IEC 17065.

• Recognised internal or lead auditor qualifications.

• Information security, operational risk or governance.

• Working with gambling regulators, accreditation or certification bodies.
