Internal Control Manager

Job Responsibilities:

Business Process Review, Optimization & Management

• Lead the mapping, streamlining, and ongoing management of end-to-end business processes across all business and functional departments.
• Identify overly complex workflows and simplify them; identify missing or underdeveloped workflows and design/build them out.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously update the process manual; ensure processes are properly documented and archived; embed control points into workflows to strengthen the internal control environment.

Internal Control Framework

• Build and maintain the company's internal control framework in line with recognized standards.
• Design, build and refine the company's Delegation of Authority framework, covering bank accounts, customs, regulatory filings, and commercial contracts, to ensure a clear and traceable authorization chain.

Internal Review

• Conduct regular or ad-hoc internal reviews on high-risk areas with weak controls.
• Identify control gaps and deficiencies; formulate remediation recommendations and drive their implementation.
• Track remediation follow-ups and report periodically to senior management on internal control performance.
• Support the company's internal controls review and coordinate with external auditors / advisors as required.

Training & Stakeholder Engagement

• Assist senior management in delivering training on company policies and key business processes to relevant departments.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to embed controls into day-to-day operations.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above.
• Approximately 5 years of relevant experience in internal control, preferably with a Big Four background; CPA or CIA preferred; healthcare / medical device industry experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated cross-functional stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
• Work Location: Hong Kong or Shenzhen.
