Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Internal Control Officer to support our Internal Control Department across the Gulberg and Ada Plot branches.

The role will focus on monitoring branch operations, inventory movement, billing accuracy, stock reconciliation, SOP compliance, and identifying operational variances. The position will also support the ongoing implementation of Odoo POS and Inventory modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily verification of store stock variances and follow up with storekeepers on discrepancies in accordance with approved company SOPs.
• Reconcile customer covers billed against covers recorded in the relevant system and identify discrepancies.
• Review billing and discount transactions to ensure compliance with approved discount policies.
• Verify department-wise stock closings and buffet closing reports for completeness and accuracy.
• Identify, document, and report unauthorized or unexplained movement of food, stock, or other company resources.
• Verify compliance with management approval requirements for food or stock taken outside the restaurant premises.
• Monitor and document staff consumption of buffet food in accordance with company policy.
• Prepare daily and weekly variance, exception, and compliance reports for the Senior Internal Controller and management.
• Coordinate with Cashiers, Storekeepers, Production, and Branch Operations teams to ensure consistent implementation of SOPs.
• Support reconciliation of Odoo POS/Inventory records with physical stock counts.
• Conduct regular checks to identify billing, inventory, cash, and operational control weaknesses.
• Escalate significant discrepancies or repeated SOP violations to the Senior Internal Controller/HOD.
• Maintain proper documentation and evidence for all identified variances and exceptions.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in Internal Audit, Internal Control, Inventory Control, Stock Audit, Store Operations, or a similar role.
• Experience in F&B, restaurant, hospitality, or multi-branch retail operations will be preferred.
• Strong understanding of inventory reconciliation, variance analysis, and operational controls.
• Good working knowledge of ERP/POS systems; experience with Odoo will be an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail with good analytical and numerical skills.
• Ability to identify discrepancies objectively and communicate findings professionally.
• Good report-writing and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments and branch teams.
• Willingness to travel between Gulberg and Ada Plot branches as required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak restaurant operating hours.
