About the Position

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Internal Medicine practice. This is a great opportunity for an NP who is comfortable working independently, enjoys building relationships with patients, and can thrive in a busy outpatient environment.

The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for independently evaluating and managing patients, prescribing medications, developing treatment plans, and providing ongoing care.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable seeing up to 30 patients in a day while maintaining quality, compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluate overall health status.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Independently see and manage patients, with the ability to see up to 30 patients per day.
• Prescribe, manage, and adjust medications based on patient needs and clinical guidelines.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
• Provide follow-up care and coordinate appropriate referrals when needed.
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently using eClinicalWorks (eCW) EMR.
• Review medical records, medications, test results, and other relevant patient information.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Clearly explain diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and follow-up instructions to patients.
• Provide patient education focused on disease prevention, healthy living, and management of chronic conditions.
• Maintain compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and standards of practice.
• Treat every patient with compassion, patience, professionalism, and respect.

Qualifications

Required:

• Valid and current Nurse Practitioner license.
• 1–2 years of Nurse Practitioner experience.
• Experience working with eClinicalWorks (eCW) EMR.
• Ability to independently assess, diagnose, and manage patients.
• Experience prescribing and managing medications.
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy Internal Medicine/primary care setting.
• Strong commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Pay: $69,600.00 - $83,900.00 per year
