Internal Medicine Physician Advisor

About the Role

Protelicious is seeking a board-certified Internal Medicine Physician to advise the company on metabolic health, chronic-disease prevention, adult nutrition, healthy aging, and responsible clinical positioning.

The physician advisor will contribute medical insight as the company develops high-protein, zero-added-sugar products intended for health-conscious consumers, including members of the GLP-1 and longevity communities.

Responsibilities

• Advise on adult protein needs, healthy aging, and metabolic-health considerations
• Review health education and physician-facing materials for scientific and clinical appropriateness
• Provide insight regarding diabetes, prediabetes, obesity, sarcopenia, and cardiometabolic risk
• Advise on potential healthcare partnerships and provider-engagement strategies
• Support responsible, compliance-conscious product positioning
• Participate in periodic advisory meetings

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
• Clinical, academic, population-health, or healthcare leadership experience
• Interest in nutrition, preventive care, longevity, or metabolic medicine
• Strong communication skills and an evidence-based perspective
