Internal Process Optimisation Engineer

About the role

Responsible for driving time and financial efficiencies across all aspects of the business including functional and technical elements.

Key responsibilities

• Map current processes and identify waste, bottlenecks, and failure points.
• Collect and analyze process data (cycle time, throughput, defect rates, SLA adherence).
• Develop and implement optimized workflows, SOPs, and operational playbooks.
• Use continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen or similar).
• Build automation ideas where appropriate (handoffs, checklists, reporting workflows).
• Partner with stakeholders to pilot improvements and drive adoption across teams.
• Define process KPIs and ensure measurement consistency and data quality.
• Support root cause analysis for operational issues and develop preventative actions.
• Document improvements and maintain a knowledge base for operational best practices.

About you

• Experience in process engineering, operations improvement (functional and technical), or industrial engineering.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort with metrics and measurement.
• Demonstrated ability to run process mapping and improvement initiatives.
• Ability to translate process designs into practical SOPs and training materials.
• Experience with workflow automation, data pipelines, or business process tooling (desirable).
• Familiarity with operations in tech-enabled services (SaaS, logistics, support operations, etc.) (desirable).
• Exposure to risk/quality frameworks relevant to operations (desirable).
