Internal Recruiter | Mining & Industrial 

PCM Group is seeking an Internal Recruiter to join our Perth CBD team and support the recruitment function across our national operations.

This role would suit someone with a minimum of 12 months recruitment experience who enjoys working in a fast paced environment, building strong candidate pipelines and working closely with operational teams to get the right people into the business quickly.

PCM Group delivers industrial services across Australia, supporting major projects within the mining, resources, marine and infrastructure sectors. Our workforce includes skilled trades, supervisors and project personnel operating across Western Australia, Queensland and the Northern Territory.

This is a genuine internal recruitment role with direct exposure to operations and senior management, where you will play an important part in ensuring our projects are properly resourced.

The Role
You will be responsible for recruitment across a range of blue collar, operational and project based positions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing recruitment requirements across current and upcoming projects
• Advertising vacancies and proactively sourcing suitable candidates
• Screening applications and conducting initial candidate interviews
• Building and maintaining candidate pipelines for key trades and recurring positions
• Working closely with Project Managers and Operations to understand upcoming workforce requirements
• Coordinating reference checks, licences, tickets and pre employment requirements
• Maintaining accurate candidate and recruitment records
• Supporting onboarding and mobilisation requirements where required
• Developing strong relationships with candidates to improve workforce availability and retention
• Using SEEK, LinkedIn and other sourcing platforms to identify suitable talent

Typical roles may include Scaffolders, Painter Blasters, Boilermakers, Supervisors, Project Personnel and other industrial trades.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• A minimum of 12 months recruitment experience
• Experience within trades, labour hire, construction, mining, resources or industrial recruitment highly regarded
• Strong candidate sourcing and screening capability
• Confidence speaking with tradespeople, supervisors and operational managers
• Excellent organisation and follow up skills
• The ability to manage multiple vacancies and competing priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A proactive mindset and willingness to pick up the phone and actively source candidates
• Experience using SEEK Talent Search or similar recruitment platforms

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who takes ownership of recruitment outcomes and is proactive in finding the right people rather than simply processing applications.
