We're looking for a reliable, organised and customer-focused Internal Sales & Dispatch person to join our Wellington branch.

This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are quite the same. You'll be at the centre of the day-to-day operation - helping customers, processing orders and quotes, supporting the sales team, managing warranty claims, and making sure freight is picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time.

You'll also play an important role in keeping the warehouse organised, safe and running smoothly.

What you'll be doing:

• Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Responding to online customer enquiries
• Preparing quotes and supporting the Fastflo sales team
• Liaising with customers and sales staff regarding orders, pricing and stock availability
• Processing and following up warranty claims with customers and suppliers
• Picking, packing and dispatching Wellington orders
• Loading and unloading freight trucks and operating a forklift
• Checking incoming freight and reporting any discrepancies or damage
• Serving trade and retail customers at the front counter
• Opening and closing the branch
• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, organised and safe
• Helping with general branch duties as required

What we're looking for:

• Experience in internal sales, customer service, trade counter or a similar role
• Experience processing customer orders and quotes
• Warehouse, dispatch or freight-handling experience
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Good computer skills; experience with NetSuite would be an advantage
• A current forklift licence, or be willing to obtain one
• A full New Zealand driver licence
• The ability to safely lift, load and unload freight
• A proactive approach and the willingness to pitch in wherever needed

Experience within plumbing, pumps, water or industrial supplies would be advantageous, but we're also interested in people with strong transferable experience.
