Internal Sales

Are you a confident, customer-focused sales professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment?

Our client is looking for an Internal Sales Representative to join their team and take ownership of customer enquiries, quotations, orders and sales support.

What you'll be doing:

• Answering incoming calls and converting enquiries into sales

• Handling customer queries and complaints

• Preparing and following up on quotations

• Processing sales orders on Syspro

• Sourcing stock from approved suppliers

• Expediting orders and following up on deliveries

• Monitoring back orders and releasing invoices for delivery

• Maintaining customer discount structures on Syspro

• Working closely with the Warehouse Manager and external sales team

• Providing leads and sales support to external representatives

• Accompanying external sales staff on customer visits when required

• Ensuring credits are kept to a minimum and following the relevant credit procedures

✔️ Highly organised and good with follow-ups

✔️ Able to manage multiple orders and enquiries simultaneously

✔️ Customer-service orientated

✔️ Comfortable working with an ERP system — Syspro experience is advantageous

✔️ Steel & Tube and Sheet & Plate experience
