Internal Sales Executive

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and commercially minded Internal Sales Executive to join our Sales Department in Killygordon.

This is an office-based sales role with a strong focus on lead generation, business development and supporting our wider Sales Department. You will identify new sales opportunities through online research, customer databases, lapsed customers and other sources, using telephone and email to develop and follow up potential business.

The role will also involve supporting the sales team with quotations, customer drawings, project information and sales administration, as well as identifying opportunities to sell used cranes internationally.

For the right person, this role offers an excellent opportunity to build a career in sales. You will develop a strong understanding of our products and industry, with the potential to gain experience outside the office and progress into Field Sales over time, if desired.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new sales leads through online research, customer databases, lapsed customers and other sales opportunities, using telephone and email to develop and follow up leads.
• Identify and develop opportunities to sell used cranes internationally.
• Provide day-to-day sales support to the wider Sales Department, assisting with customer enquiries, project information and sales activities.
• Prepare, issue and follow up sales quotations.
• Mark up crane positions and other requirements on customer drawings.
• Complete sales paperwork and maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities and customer activity.
• Assist the Field Sales team with project research, customer information and follow-up.

• Comfortable using online research tools and computer systems.
• Has strong attention to detail.
• Able to work independently while also supporting the wider Sales Department.
• Interested in developing a long-term career in sales.
• Willing to learn about our products and the construction industry.

Previous sales experience would be an advantage, particularly within construction, engineering, plant hire or a related industry, but we are also open to candidates with the right attitude, commercial approach and willingness to learn.

This role provides an opportunity to learn the business from an office-based sales environment and develop valuable experience across lead generation, customer relationships, quotations and project sales.

For the right person, there is the potential to progress into a Field Sales role, developing customer relationships and managing sales opportunities directly in the market.
